#PadsWithPower: A Women’s Month Campaign Restoring Dignity

This Women’s Month, Out The Box Marketing is proud to launch #PadsWithPower — a heartfelt community campaign aimed at restoring dignity, sparking kindness and standing in solidarity with the women and girls of South Africa who are most in need.

We believe that access to basic hygiene is not a privilege, it is a human right. Yet every day, countless women and girls face the devastating reality of hygiene poverty. Through this campaign, we are taking meaningful steps to change that.

🛍 What is #PadsWithPower?

#PadsWithPower is a donation drive running throughout the month of August. Our mission is to collect and distribute 500 hygiene care packages to women’s shelters and schools in underprivileged areas across Cape Town.

Each care pack includes:

• 🩸 Sanitary Towels

• 💄 Lip Balm

• 🧴 Deodorant

• 🧼 Soap

• 🖐 Face Cloth

• 🧼 Hand Sanitiser

These essential items offer more than just hygiene — they offer dignity, comfort and a reminder that someone cares.

🏠 Who Will Receive These Packs?

We’ve partnered with four organisations doing incredible work in their communities. Our care packs will be delivered weekly, throughout the month of August to:

• The Saartjie Baartman Centre for Women and Children

• St. Anne’s Women’s Shelter

• CAFDA School of Skills

• Blouvlei Special Needs School

These shelters and schools provide support, education and safety to women and girls facing various hardships. From abuse and abandonment to economic exclusion.
